However, behind the scenes, Pacheco’s grit and determination were revealed as he underwent surgeries to mend a torn labrum and a broken hand, ailments he had stoically played through during the Super Bowl.

From his early years, Pacheco demonstrated a profound passion for sports – a trait that has been passed down in his family. It wasn’t a surprising development as both his parents were talented athletes in their youth.
The young lad also enjoyed massive support from his family members during his games. His grandfather particularly gives him some words of encouragement before he steps into the field.
Moving on to his ancestry, the celebrated NFL star’s paternal family roots are of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. On the other hand, his maternal ethnicity is of African-American origin.
There is no denying the fact that Isiah Pacheco is an embodiment of his ancestral traits. Of course, he will continue to represent his people as he fulfils his duty on the pitch each day. Now, let’s delve into his family life.
Isiah Pacheco Father – Julio Pacheco:
Apparently, Pacheco chooses to keep the details of his family life relatively private. He has only offered glimpses into his professional journey rather than unveiling the intricacies of his personal life on Instagram.
This is one of the reasons his parents’ pictures are not available on his social media accounts. Nevertheless, his father, Julio Pacheco, who was a former football player, contributed to shaping the trajectory of his career.
Through unspoken lessons and hands-on guidance, Pacheco’s dad imparted the skills and strategies that would later define him as a successful player.
Despite facing challenges in his upbringing, Pacheco attributes much of his resilience and work ethic to his father’s guidance. For emphasis’ sake, Julio instilled a commitment to excellence in his son when training him.
This made Pacheco the first player to always arrive at their training ground back in the day. As a result, he was ultimately selected as captain in his freshman year, a role he carried through each subsequent year of high school.
Reflecting on his journey, Pacheco acknowledges the pivotal role his father played in molding him into the person he is today. He stated:
“That’s something my dad played a role in, to help me be the man I am today.”
Furthermore, Pacheco credits his father’s efforts with equipping him to overcome adversity from an early age. As a result, he has seamlessly adapted to diverse offensive schemes and coaching styles in his football expedition.
Isiah Pacheco Mother – Felicia Cannon:
While Pacheco’s dad ran a small business to support his family, his mom took on the mantle of managing domestic duties. She was the one person he would run to whenever he had any problem.
Due to her availability throughout his childhood, Pacheco developed a strong bond with his mother. As a result, she became his confidant and knew virtually everything that goes on in his life.
Do you know?… The athlete’s mom has been married twice. Consequent to her relationships, Isiah Pacheco has a stepfather whose name is Ricky Fowler of Bridgeton.
The mother-son duo also shares moments that extend beyond the confines of daylight. Whenever they find it difficult to fall asleep, they would immerse themselves in watching football highlights on YouTube.
Pacheco’s mom is also a football enthusiast, like his father. Aside from taking care of him and his siblings at home, she stands as a beacon of encouragement in nurturing her son’s passion for the sport.
Together, Felicia and Julio provide not just material support but also the emotional scaffolding needed for Isiah to chase his dreams. Sadly, Felicia Cannon had to deal with the death of two of her children, which we shall discuss shortly.
Isiah Pacheco Siblings:
Being the last born of his family meant Pacheco would enjoy preferential treatment from his parents. Similarly, he wouldn’t lack the attention, care, and protection of his four older siblings.
While acknowledging the collective effort of his brothers’ support in his football journey, he stated:
“I’m just blessed by my brothers. I couldn’t do it without them. Day in and day out, we pushed to get here; we strived for moments like this. Being accountable for one another it shows for ourselves how much we support each other.”
From his early years, Pacheco stood out among his siblings. He was always in a hurry and captured attention effortlessly. As a toddler in Bridgeton, his playful spirit manifested in unique ways.
At the sound of a motorcycle, he would eagerly jump on the couch, peering out the window, imagining himself riding the passing bike. Pacheco’s penchant for getting what he wanted extended to his interactions with older siblings, particularly his closest sister, Celeste.
Known for her ability to keep him humble, Celeste’s playful banter would have likely continued in the present, as his father, Julio Pacheco, imagines, “If she was here now, she’d be saying, ‘Who do you think you are, a superstar or something?’”
Sadly, Pacheco’s favourite sibling (Celeste) was murdered in 2017. Before her death, Celeste always added entertainment to the family by dancing around the kitchen while cooking brownies.
Pacheco recalls with a laugh, “She could cook, but she couldn’t cook as good as my mom. When Celeste cooked, she was probably going to burn something.”
Despite being the youngest, Isiah Pacheco found a way to assert influence over his siblings. His mother, Felicia Cannon, recounts, “I told him, ‘How are you going to run your brothers and sisters? You’re the littlest one.’ But he would get them to do what he wanted.”
The Tragic Death of Isiah Pacheco’s Brother and Sister:
Behind the smiles of the NFL star lies some heart-wrenching tragedy. His path was forever altered by the loss of his brother, Travoise Cannon, in January 2016 and his sister, Celeste Cannon, in September 2017.
These devastating events cast lifelong shadows, motivating Pacheco to navigate the complexities of life with unwavering determination.
The first blow struck on January 10, 2016, when Pacheco’s brother, Travoise, fell victim to a fatal stabbing in his Bridgeton apartment building. At the age of 29, Travoise’s life was tragically cut short.
The alleged attacker claimed self-defense, admitting to third-degree hindering/hiding evidence and receiving a three-year probationary period. Reflecting on the impact of his brother’s untimely death, Pacheco reminisces about the profound influence Travoise had on his childhood.
“Ever since I was a child, my brother has been keeping an eye out for me. From learning to ride an electric four-wheeler to sharing the joy of riding four-wheelers and dirt motorcycles as a hobby, Travoise’s presence left an indelible mark on me. Plus, he was my mother’s first child.”
Tragedy struck again in 2017, as Pacheco lost his sister, Celeste, a mother of three, who was found dead in her Millville home on September 20, 2017. Sadly, she died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.
The ensuing investigation led to the detention of Donald Scurry Jr., who, in June, received a 65-year prison term after being found guilty of murder.
